I made a self-help guide for myself.
I know it sounds weird, but it was needed.
There were so many things I incorporated in my life that had a positive effect and I stopped doing them.
As well as, there were a lot of things I did that had negative reactions and I stuck with them.
I analyzed the good and bad habits and really dug deep of what’s important to me.
As I was writing it, I never felt bogged down. Giving myself a lot of rules. Everything, I wrote resonated with me. Nothing seemed scary because I’ve done it before.
Voila, My guide was born!
You may think it’s weird but there are so many self-help guides written by other people and their words are inhaled like truth.
I’m not saying that self-help guides and inspirational teachings created by other people are wrong. Hell, I’ve read a lot of books in my life.
But no one knows me better than myself.
Shortly after I wrote this entry, I stumbled on a video called “Be Your Own Guru”. Jonathan Fields of the Goodlife Project, proves my point so eloquently. Watch and let me know what you think.
